Brighter Futures
At the Sheffield Inclusion Centre we strive to prepare pupils for their next stage in education and to build brighter futures.
Many of our pupils have missed parts of their education due to absence from school. This absence is often caused by pupils lacking the wraparound support which gives them a sense of belonging and confidence to achieve.
At the Sheffield Inclusion Centre we prioritise care and support and build extremely strong relationships with families.
When a pupil joins our school, we listen to parents/carers and pupils to identify any unmet needs and put in place a programme of support. This ranges from support from form tutor and teaching assistant to referrals to outside agencies including Speech and Language, Educational Psychology Service, MAST, Attendance and Inclusion Service, etc.
We are fortunate enough to have our own team of support workers including learning mentors, youth workers, youth offending workers, therapist and an SEN family support worker who not only work in school time, but also the school holidays.
